Culture of Sweat is a journey ride studio in Nanaimo, British Columbia. This page says what we collect on this site, why, and who sees it. Last updated October 28, 2026.

What we collect

When you save a bike, save a seat, take the quiz or book a team ride we collect your name, your email, your phone and organisation if you give them, the rides, programs and interests you picked, and the date and wording of your consent. Nothing else is required.

What we do with it

We email you about the founding list, opening day and the studio. Each email has an unsubscribe link, and replying with the word unsubscribe works too. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

Who handles it for us

Cloudflare hosts the site and the form. Resend delivers our transactional email. Klaviyo stores the mailing list and sends the sequence. TeamUp runs class bookings, memberships and waivers once the doors open, and Stripe handles card payments; neither sees more than it needs to do that job. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel measure visits and signups, and we send Meta a hashed version of your email when you sign up so our ads stop showing you the same offer. You can block the Pixel and Analytics with a browser setting or extension and the site still works.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing cultureofsweat@gmail.com. We answer within ten days. This site follows Canada's anti spam law and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act.
